Whats the best overall strategy? Trying to win by more damage or more range? Perhaps special cards?
ReplyDeleteI think the "best" strategy is to play the one that's the most fun for you. While some strategies may have a slight edge over others, player skill is more important. The more you enjoy your deck, the more you'll play, and let your deck evolve over time.
ReplyDeletethe only thing I can add to that is know your deck, me personally different
ReplyDeletetips of strategy
The issues of knowing your deck and applying a strategy that you like are very important. The more familiar you are with the game and the more you enjoy playing it your skill will naturally rise. You'll be able to better predict opponent moves, build capable decks, etc.
ReplyDeleteSome specific ideas for strategy: fast deck, Swiss Army Knife deck, small deck. These approaches are not necessary compatible but focusing on one of these 3 methods should be a good start to finding your own style.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: If you have Enhanced Technology and Research and Development both equipped, could you then potentially have 5 tiers when you have priority?
ReplyDeleteDonya: yes, that combination of cards would allow for up to 5 tiers in a single turn.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the current 'types' of decks out at the moment?
ReplyDeleteI've seen:
Hit and run: Using superior mobility to make a number of small attacks, wearing your opponent down and staying out of range.
Damage Prevention: Stalling by preventing damage, usually for a single massive attack.
Combo Decks: Using the synergy of two or more cards repeatedly to suprise your opponent with an effect or attack.
Swiss Army Knife: A deck built around the idea that every strategy has a loophole or exploit, and a method of reliably getting that 'silver bullet'.
Aggro/Rush: A deck built to attack your opponent early and cripple them before they are ready.
Micro Deck: Often combined with an above strategy, it attempts to increase the odds of getting the 'God Hand's by increasing the probability of getting key cards.
