Vendetta Stage 1
With two or more duels (2-player games) on the same map these games would ignore all aspects of the other game(s) being played. These duels are played out as normal between only the 2 players involved.Victors of these duels would simply wait in their current location in their current condition until all other duels sharing the same map are completed. They are effectively paused. Eliminated players remove their vessels from the map.
Plan for the long game.
With more than one opponent to contend with be sure to plan for your own long term survival. Even in Vendetta games where you begin with only one opponent, if you win that duel you still have the final bout.
Some actions offer short term gain but long term loss.
Vendetta Stage 2
Once a winner is determined for all duels on that map, these players would then resume against each other in a final free-for-all game. These players determine priority via highest dice roll. Begin the final bout as any normal turn in present condition. The game does not start over, it is merely a continuation with the final players.Plan ahead.
Where you end one turn is where you begin the next. Be ready.
As in all sparring games, the end result of a Vendetta game is a simple goal: there can be only one. You may form temporary alliances but find them dissolved at an inopportune time. You may take risky moves and find they set you in a prime position or cripple you because your opponent prepared better. Knowing the player is as important as knowing an opponent's ship.
Have a contingency plan.
Each turn is a gamble. But the cards you prepare can be used in ways you may not have intended in case your plans fail.
Make sure you can win the first stage of a vendetta game in a way that increases your chances of also winning the second stage. You don't want to find yourself completely spent for the second foray.
